I’ve only been able to watch and not practice due to a recent ankle surgery but it is very informative and is easy to follow. I used to be able to skate (about 20 yrs ago when I was younger but its been a while and I wanted something to help. This is a great training aide and once I am fully able, I will be on the road trying. I would recommend indeed for someone trying to learn.
Worth every penny. For the beginner–or, say you just haven’t skated in many
moons (like myself) and would like a brief refresher/reminder (course) on
what to do & how to do it.
This DVD is a total waste of money. The sections on various techniques seem to be mere seconds long, with little or no explanation regarding what they are demonstrating. Save your hard earned money – I wish I did!!
Excellent dvd covering most things a beginner needs to know: forward and backwards skating, braking, turning, falling etc. Probably not for the advanced skater but if you’re just starting off or need to review your basic technique then this is highly recommended.
This is an excellent DVD for beginner in-line skaters. It is easily understood by children as well as adults. Stresses the importance of protective gear and how to wear it. It clearly shows different ways of braking, as well as, basic strides and backward skating. This DVD guides you on to become a good intermediate skater. If you need instructions on how to care for your skates – look elsewhere.
